REEDSBURG, Wisconsin -- Jack Wayne Baldwin, 81, died July 17, 2011, our Our House Assisted Living in Wisconsin Dells.

He was born March 6, 1930, in Cee Vee, Texas, to Lenwood Marion Baldwin and Beulah (Gist) Baldwin.

He grew up in Morton, Texas and worked in the oil fields all over the western United States from age 17 until he was 58. He then embarked on a second career in custodial work until retiring in 2006.

On July 15, 1975, he married Lynda (Humphrey) Larson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Lynn Merle and Don Charles.

Survivors include his wife, Lynda; his children, Deb and husband, David Houghtelling of Cambridge, Nebraska, Vince Baldwin of Omaha, Nebraska, Michael and wife, Jessica Larson of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, Jamie and husband, Lance Lockhart of Nashville, Tennessee, Jessica Lynn Baldwin of Atlanta, Georga and Ira and wife, Ashley Baldwin of St. Louis, Missouri; a sister, Marie Baggett; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Services were July 24 at New Life Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Clark Peterson officiating. Burial followed at Oak Lawn Cemetery in LaValle, Wisconsin.
