Whitney Jean Hochstetler of Wallace, Nebraska, and Michael Henry Kuhlen of McCook announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.

Parents of the couple are Timothy Hochstetler of Wallace, Michelle Hochstetlet of North Platte and Leon and Phyllis Kuhlen of McCook.

The bride-to-be is a LPN and attending school in Colby for her RN. She is employed as a LPN at Hillcrest Nursing Home. The prospective bridegroom has a bachelor of science in business administration and accounting and is employed by Wagner Chevrolet as a business manager.

An Aug. 27, 2011, wedding is planned at St. Patrick Catholic Church in McCook.
