Placzek, Arterburn engagement
Taryn Rachelle Placzek and Joel Thomas Arterburn announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.
Parents of the couple are Rich and Tonya Placzek of McCook and Tom and Cindi Arterburn of McCook. Grandparents of the bride-to-be are Gene and Jan Mahon of McCook and Clarence and Delta Placzek of Loup City. Grandparents of the prospective bridegroom are Bob and Teresa Purvis of McCook and Kermit and Charlene Arterburn of McCook.
The bride-to-be is a 2007 graduate of McCook High School and plans to graduate in December 2010 from Clarkson College in Omaha with a degree as a physical therapist assistant.
The prospective bridegroom is a 2006 graduate of McCook High School and plans to graduate in December 2011 from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a degree in elementary education.
An Aug. 14, 2010, wedding is planned at the McCook Evangelical Free Church with a reception to follow at the Community Building.
