Jonathan and Kristen Lancton

HOUSTON, Texas -- Kristen Sue Harr and Jonathan Bouchard Lancton, both of Houston, Texas, were united in marriage on Jan. 4, 2010, at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Houston, Texas, with the Rev. Joseph Fessio, S. J. of San Francisco, Calif., officiating.

Parents of the couple are Phil and Donna Harr of McCook and the late Barbara and Patrick Lancton.

Sister of the bride, Katie Joseph of Lincoln was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were sister of the bridegroom, Kelly Bridges of Cedar Park, Texas, Becky Hock Friess of Reminderville, Ohio, and Rose Trabbic of Ave Maria, Fla. Junior bridesmaid was Kelsea Bridges Cedar Park, niece of the bridegroom.

Brady Sherman of Tahoma, Calif., was the best man. Bridegroomsmen were brother of the bridegroom, Robbie Allbright of Milwaukee, Wis., brother of the bride, James Harr of Omaha and Joseph Trabbic of Ave Maria.

Flower girls were nieces of the bridegroom, Emily Bridges of Cedar Park and Barbara Allbright of Milwaukee. The ring bearer was Zachary Bridges of Cedar Park, nephew and godson of the bridegroom. Andrew and Melissa Steele of Ave Maria were the vocalists.

The bride is a 2000 graduate of McCook High School and a 2007 graduate of Ave Maria University, Naples, Fla. She is a religious education and audio book production editor for Ignatius Press.

The bridegroom is a 1998 graduate of Strake Jesuit Prepatory School in Houston, and earned an MBA from the University of Denver in 2003. He served with the Peace Corps in Tela, Honduras from 2006-08. He is a law student at the University of Houston Law School.

A reception followed the ceremony at the Courtyard on Saint James in Houston. A second reception took place in McCook on March 14 at the Knights of Columbus Hall.

The couple honeymooned in Spain planned and are making their home in Houston.
