CERESCO -- Donna Burks, 69, died Wednesday (March 24, 2010) at her home.

She was born April 6, 1941, at Blackwell, Okla., to Eugene and Dorothy (Lile) Roberts. She grew up in Newton Kan., and graduated from high school there.

She worked at Casey's in Ceresco.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Harold Burks of Ceresco; her children, Darrel Burks of Lawrence, Kan., Connie and husband, Merlen Borgialli of Marquette, Mich., Lori and husband, Michael Wech of Nixa, Mo., Larry and wife, Kathryn Burks of Omaha, Steven and wife, Jennifer Burks of Gilbert, Ariz.; four brothers Jack and wife, Joy Roberts of Wichita, Kan., Mike and wife, Dianna Roberts of Newton, Kan., Max and wife, Rose Roberts of Newton, Kan., and Jimmy Roberts of Wichita, Kan.; one sister, Patty Briar of Newton, Kan.; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and many friends in Southwest Nebraska and Northwest Kansas.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, 11 a.m., at Pruss-Nabity Funeral Home with the Rev. Chuck Rager officiating.

Visitation is today, 5-8 p.m.
