Beckenhauer, Hageman wedding
AMELIA ISLAND, Fla. --Sara Ann Beckenhauer and David Michael Hageman, both of Denver, Colo. were united in marriage Oct. 17, 2009 on the beach in Amelia Island, Fla. with Sherman Reed officiating.
Parents of the bride are Bill and Jill Beckenhauer of Cozad, formerly of McCook. Grandparents are Steve and Bethine Vontz of McCook and Don and Pat Olsen of Columbus.
Parents of the bridegroom are Jim and Susie Hageman of Albion.
Matron of honor was Carrie Hageman, sister-in-law of the bridegroom, of Grand Island. The bridesmaid was Heather Hageman, sister-in-law of the bridegroom, of Windsor, Colo.
The flower girl was Caitlyn Hageman, niece of the bridegroom of Windsor.
Jacob Beckenhauer, brother of the bride, of Cozad, and Gavin Hageman, nephew of the bridegroom, of Windsor, were the ring bearers.
Matt Hageman, brother of the bridegroom, of Grand Island was the best man.
The bridegroomsman was Greg Hageman, brother of the bridegroom, of Windsor.
Ushers were Matthew Beckenhauer, of Lamoni, Iowa and Zachary Beckenhauer of Cozad, both brothers of the bride.
Music was provided by David Leacox, uncle of the bride, of Lake St. Louis, Mo., with guitars and vocals and Evan Leacox, cousin of the bride, of Olympia, Wash. with congas.
A reception followed the ceremony on the beach.
The couple honeymooned in Key West, Fla.
The bride graduated with her Bachelors and Masters degrees from University of Nebraska at Kearney. She is a private speech language pathologist serving the Denver metro area.
The bridegroom graduated with his Bachelor's degree from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. He owns a corporate consulting firm, Max Impact Solutions.
The couple resides in Denver.
