Lacey and Jonathan Bouc

KEARNEY -- Lacey Strasburg and Jonathan Bouc, both of Kearney, were united in marriage Oct. 24, 2009 at the First United Methodist Church in Kearney, with the Rev. Gary Main officiating.

Parents of the bride are Barry and Betty Strasburg of Hayes Center. Parents of the bridegroom are Gladyce Bouc of Valparaiso the late Robert Bouc.

Matron of honor was Holly Gilbreath, sister of the bride, of Papillion. Bridesmaids were Erika Dimas of Hayes Center, Cristina Long of Lincoln, Jamie Silas of Wilcox and Sheila Johnson, sister of the bridegroom, of Lincoln. 
The flower girl was Samantha Collingsworth, niece of the bridegroom, of Lincoln.

Ringbearer was Grant Collingsworth, nephew of the bridegroom, of Lincoln. Honorary ringbearer was Caden Gilbreath, nephew of the bride, of Papillion. The candlelighter was Mariah Strasburg, cousin of the bride, of Arnold.

Best man was Nick Bordovsky of Omaha. Bridegroomsmen were Brandon Bouc and Adam Bouc, both of Lincoln and both brothers of the bridegroom, Jason Burcham of Lincoln, and Ray Johnson, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, of Lincoln.

Ushers were Nathan Strasburg, brother of the bride, of Hayes Center and Mike Gilbreath, brother-in-law of the bride, of Papillion, 
Sue Messersmith of Hayes Center was the pianist.
The reception followed the ceremony at the Kearney Holiday Inn. Cake servers were Sandy Stear, Elly Smith, Aneita Strasburg, all aunts of the bride and Karen Gilbreath.

Host couples were Jody and Marcia Strasburg, aunt and uncle of the bride, of Arnold and Charlotte and Bruce Collingsworth, brother-in-law and sister of the bridegroom, of Lincoln. 
Guest book and program attendants were Megan Gamble and Kimberly Schultz, cousins of the bride, both of North Platte.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Hayes Center High School and a 2006 graduate of the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a Bachelor's degree in elementary and special education. She is working toward her Master's degree through UNK and is a K-6 special education teacher at Elm Creek Public Schools.


The bridegroom is a 2002 graduate of Raymond Central High School and a 2007 graduate of the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a bachelor's degree in K-12 physical education and health. He is a substitute teacher in the Kearney area.

The couple is planning a honeymoon for summer 2010. They are making their home in Kearney.
