Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Randy Carter of Lebanon, Mo., Deborah Lundberg Cole of McCook and the late Richard W. Cole.
The prospective bridegroom's grandmother is Flora Lundberg of McCook.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of College of the Ozarks and the University of Missouri with a Masters degree in physical therapy. She is employed with St. Louis Children's Hospital.
The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of Missouri State University in Springfield, Mo., and is a law student at Washington University Law School in St. Louis. He is an intern with the prosecuter's office in St. Louis.
The couple will be married Aug. 8, 2009, aboard the Landing Princess in Branson, Mo.
