LOVELAND, Colo. -- Thelma Opal Randolph died at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Loveland, Colo., on Dec.14, 2007. She was 96 years old.

On April 29, 1911, Thelma O. Wilcox was born to Gerald and Carolyn "Carrie" (Nelson) Wilcox in Red Willow County. She was the youngest of 11 children. She graduated from McCook High School in 1931.

Thelma moved to Denver to be closer to family and lived with her sister for a while until she got her own place. While in her home in Littleton, she created the most beautiful back yard. This yard became a gorgeous gathering place for family and friends through the years. She was an accomplished piano and organ player and loved music, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

After falling and breaking an arm she moved to Loveland, Colo., where she lived for many years before her death.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, Everett and all of her brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her children, Garry and wife, Joann of West Palm Beach, Fla., Larry and wife, Janie of Loveland, Colo., and Morgan and wife, Sharon of Arvada, Colo.; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
