Timothy Lee Grafel

July 29, 1967 - April 19, 2009

Timothy Lee Grafel, of Holdrege died Sunday, April 19, 2009 at Mary Lanning Hospital in Hastings. He was 42.

He was born in McCook to Elmore L. and Beverley A. (Young) Grafel on July 29, 1967. He graduated from Culbertson High School in 1984.

He worked at Connections for the past year and NAPA Auto for five years. He had a cat named Tiffany and his 1989 Ford pickup "Betsy." He collected toy tractors, Match Box cars and remote control cars.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, August and Mary Grafel and Albert and Eva Young.

He is survived by his parents, Elmore and Beverley Grafel of Culbertson; brother, Scott Grafel of Culbertson; sister, Tina Aschoff and husband, Alan of Hastings; two nieces, Miranda and Krystin Aschoff.

Memorials may be given in his name.

Memorial services will be Wednesday, April 22, 2009, 11 a.m. at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home with Jerry Beckenhauer officiating. Inurnment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
