PALISADE -- Bryan Wade Witt, age 32, died Saturday, Feb. 21, 2009, in Shamrock, Texas.

He was born in McCook on Nov. 10, 1976, to Billie D. and Colleen F. (Moreau) Witt. He was in the Special Olympics during high school and graduated from McCook High in 1998.

He enjoyed spending time with his great nieces and nephews, he liked the outdoors and tinkering on fixing anything he could work on.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alvy Witt and Irene Witt; grandfather, Ivan Moreau; and two uncles David Moreau and David Herron.

He is survived by his mother, Colleen McVicker and Melvin of Palisade; father, Billie Witt of Buffalo, Mo.; grandmother, Ruth Moreau of Lincoln; brother, Dennis Witt and Sabrina of Shamrock, Texas; sister, Sarah Witt of Palisade; step-brother, Ronald McVicker of Springfield, Mo.; two step-sisters, Meloney McVicker, Michelle Donovan and husband, Patrick, all of Sterling; five nieces and six nephews.

Memorials may be given to the Bryan W. Witt Memorial Fund, c/o Bank of Urbana, PO Box 1903, Buffalo, MO 65622.

Funeral services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the Palisade School Gym with Jerry Beckenhauer officiating. Burial will be in the Palisade Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m.
