Danette Sughroue and Trevor Anderson announce their engagement and upcoming wedding. Parents of the couple are Tom and Patricia Smith of Bartley and Gregg and Jackie Anderson of Gothenburg,.

The bride-to-be graduated from Twin Valley High School in 2000 and earned a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Creighton University in 2005. She is employed as an occupational therapist for Alpha Rehabilitation, P.C. in Kearney.

The prospective bridegroom graduated from Gothenburg High School in 2002 and earned an Associates of Applied Science Degree in Electrical Technology from Southeast Community College in 2004. He is an electrician for JK Electric in Lincoln.

A December 13, 2008, ceremony is planned at McCook Christian Church in McCook.
