OBERLIN -- Henry M. Wolfram, 88, died Sunday (May 11, 2008) at Presbyterian Manor in Arkansas City, Kan.

He was born Aug. 18, 1919, in rural Herndon to Martin and Emma (Grafel) Wolfram. He grew up on a farm near Herndon and attended Green Valley School.

On Aug. 18, 1945, he married Beatrice V. McCoy in Herndon. He was a farmer and worked for the Kansas Department of Transportation. He lived in the Traer and Oberlin most of his married life.

He was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Oberlin.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice on Oct. 9, 2007; parents, Martin and Emma Wolfram; two brothers, Edwin and Gerald; and two sisters, Florence Eby and Delores Huff.

Survivors include his son, Larry and wife, Sandra Wolfram of Liberal, Kan.; daughter, Connie and husband, Curtis Meixner of Arkansas City, Kan.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be Saturday, 10:30 a.m., at Pauls Funeral Home in Oberlin with the Rev. Royce Leitner officiating. Interment will be in the Oberlin Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m., and Saturday from 8 a.m., until time of service at the funeral home.

Memorials may be given to the Henry Wolfram Memorial Fund.
