McMinamen, Ratanasin wedding

Tayler and Bryan Ratanasin

GOLDEN, Colo. -- Tayler McMinamen of McCook and Bryan Ratanasin of Yukon, Okla., were united in marriage on Sept. 1, 2007, in an outdoor ceremony at Mount Vernon Event Center in Golden Colo, with the Rev. Chris Denard officiating.

Parents of the couple are Mark and Julie McMinamen formerly of McCook, from Kearney and Tom and Nokky Ratanasin of Yukon.

Grandmother of the bride is Sally McMinamen of Holdredge. Grandparents of the bridegroom are Jeanne Ong of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Pacharee Ratanasin of Bankok, Thailand

The matrons of honor were Gabby Bednar of Omaha and Chanika McLelland, sister of the bridegroom of Fayetteville, Ark. Bridesmaids were Lana Hass, of Fayetteville, Chelsea Wieding of Tulsa Okla., Bethany Bates of Kearney, Jill Fahnholz of Kearney, Emily Eisenmenger and Sunee Haney, both of Omaha.

Nick Ratanasin, brother of bridegroom, of Denver Colo., served as bestman. Bridegroomsmen were Jarrett McLelland, brother in-law of the bridegroom, of Fayetteville, James Grimer of Minneapolis, Kan., Jerad McMinamen, brother of the bride, of Denver,Todd Poe of Oklahoma City, Jase Carter of St. Louis, Mo., and Mike Latshaw and Matt Neal, both of Oklahoma City.

Kaiya McLelland, niece of the bridegroom, of Fayetteville was the flower girl and Gage Watherhouse, cousin of the bride, of Kearney, was the ring bearer. Ushers were Mark Nato of Kansas City, Kan., and Tristan Shutt of Oklahoma City. The soloist was Cody Chaloner of Stillwater, Okla., and Chanika McLelland.

A reception was at Mount Vernon Event Center. Jen Gant and Lisa Robishaw, both of Denver, Colo. were guestbook attendants.

The bride graduated with a Bachelor of Science in family studies from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. The bridegroom graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in biblical studies from Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, Okla., and is employed with K-Life Youth Ministries.

After a honeymoon in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico, the couple is making their home in Denver.
