Obituary

Aug. 26, 1937 - Oct. 12, 2007

DENVER, Colo., --Jerry was diagnosed with ALS or Lou Gehrigs Disease in June 2007, and ended his battle on Oct.12, 2007, in Denver Colo.

He was born in Holton Kan., on Aug. 26, 1937.

For approximately 30 years he lived in Breckenridge, Colo., and worked as the building official for Summit County and when he retired he moved to Lebanon, where he enjoyed his time hunting, fishing and traveling.

He is survived by his mother, Evelyn Booth; his loyal canine companion, Whiskers; children, Julia Booth, Alfred Booth and Tammy Warner; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Pepper Ritter, Judy Fields, Barbara Wray and George Booth; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Arvilla Booth and brother, Donald Booth.

Memorial services will be in Breckenridge, Colo., at the Steak and Rib on Nov. 14, at 4 p.m., for his friends and family. His wish was to be cremated and buried in Manhattan, Kan., where he grew up and will be taken there at Thanksgiving to follow through with those wishes.
