More 'old news'

Monday, September 17, 2007

Dear Editor,

I am also upset about that article wrote 28 years later on the Travis/Bussard story but I am not in any way related to anyone in it.

However, a better article would be for you to remind us about the Ida Fitzgibbons suicide/murder! I remember that being quite controversal and I was very young then.

Many believe it was murder and gossip is still rampant about stolen coins and a cover up, etc. etc. To many, and to me, that is still an unsolved case (As with other unsolved McCook murders). Even Paul Harvey (a few years ago) boldly stated on national news radio that "if you wanted to commit murder and 'get away with it', go to McCook, Neb.!"

But, the Travis murder, just old news that should have stayed old news!

Just My Opinion. Thanks.
