Maleah Hodson and Corey Johnson of Pittsburg, Kan., announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.

Parents of the couple are Scott and Carol Hodson of Kearney and Allen and Marcy Johnson of Belleville.

The bride-to-be's grandparents are Don and Karen Hodson of McCook and Mary Lemman of Oberlin.

She is a 2001 graduate of Kearney High School and a 2006 graduate of the University of Nebraska at Kearney. She is employed at NPC International in Pittsburg, Kan.

The prospective bridegroom is a 1999 graduate of Geneva High School and is attending Pittsburg State University studying Automotive Technology.

A May 19, 2007, wedding ceremony is being planned at the First United Methodist Church in Belleville.
