Charles L. Brown

LEBANON -- Charles L. Brown, 62, died Sunday (April 15, 2007) at his home in Lebanon.

He was born Jan. 31, 1945, at Lebanon, to Warren and Bernice (Warren) Brown. He grew up at Lebanon where he graduated from Lebanon High School in 1963.

On May 13, 1983, he married Karen Leach at McCook and they spent their married life at Lebanon. He was employed as a heavy equipment operator for Red Willow County for thirty years until his death.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Karen Brown of Lebanon; four step-children, Terry L. Sailors and wife, Marilyn of Lincoln, Mike L. Sailors and wife, Aimee of Omaha; James Sailors of McCook and Scott H, Leach of McCook; one sister, Sandra Daffer and husband, Harlow of Danbury; relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Thursday, 10:30 a.m., at Herrmann Memorial Chapel in McCook with the Rev. Dr. Jeffery Thurman officiating. Interment will be in the Lebanon Cemetery.

Memorials may be given in his name and friends may call at Herrmann Funeral Home in McCook from 9 a.m. - 9 p.m.
