ARAPAHOE -- Dorothy C. Mues, 84, died Thursday (Feb. 22, 2007) at Tri-County Hospital in Lexington.

She was born Oct. 14, 1922, at Edison to Benjamin and Carmen (McCoy) McCann.

On Nov. 10, 1945, she married Wayne Mues of Arapahoe. They made their home in Arapahoe and have been life long residents.

She was a member of the St. Episcopal Church of Arapahoe.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Leona Gockley.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne of Arapahoe; son, Steven W. and wife, Marilyn of Wichita, Kan.; daughter, Mary Beth Roper Keenan of Kearney; sisters, Laverne Chapman of Edison and Ruby and husband, Mark Martin of Kearney; sisters-in-law, Maxine Mues of Arapahoe and Harriett Mues of San Angelo, Texas; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Memorial services will be Tuesday, 11 a.m., at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Arapahoe with the Rev. Jami Anderson officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
