Ridlen, Palser wedding

Troy and Debra Palser

ENDERS -- Debra Michelle Ridlen and Troy Allen Palser, both of Fort Collins, Colo. were united in marriage Aug. 5, 2006 in an outdoor country-themed evening ceremony below Enders Dam. Ray Ridlen of Palisade, great-uncle of the bride officiated.

Parents of the couple are David and Pam Ridlen of Enders and James and Monica Palser of Fort Collins, Colo.

Grandparents are Hertha Holien of Enders and the late Larry Holien, Delores Ridlen of Hot Springs, S. D. and the late Paul Ridlen, Ronald and Gabriella Vernon of Julesburg, Colo. and the late Marjory and Vernon Palser.

The bride's maid of honor, Natasha Colella, of Chadron, was unable to attend due to the birth of her son.

Other bridesmaids were Heather Palser, of Chadron, sister of the bridegroom, and Lari Ann Smith of Rapid City S.D.

Jeremy "Smitty" Smith of Chadron, served as best man and David Ridlen, St. Joseph, Mo., brother of the bride, was the bridegroomsman.

C.J. Howard of Hayes Center, was the flowergirl and CuJo, the couple's pet, served as ringbearer.

Ushers were Maverick and Mason Fanning and the bride's cousins, Dylan Davis and Chase Reasoner.

Stacy Reasoner was the bride's personal attendant.

Special guests of honor were Bill and Julie Thorell of Lincoln, Jenny Thorell of Omaha and Stetson, Janelle and Brandi Nix of Chadron. A dinner and dance reception followed the wedding ceremony also below Enders Dam.

A variety of colors in wildflowers with pink and green Gerberia daisies, matching the bride's bouquet, decorated the tables along with balloons and country-themed centerpieces.

All flower arrangements, corsages, boutonniere and the bouquets were designed by the bridegroom's sister, Heather Palser.

The three tiered, five satellite wedding cake was baked and decorated by the bride's mother and served by Kip and Andrea Richards of Hayes Center.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of Chase County High School and a 2005 graduate of Chadron State College. She is employed with Ethan Allen of Fort Collins, Colo. as an interior design consultant.

The bridegroom graduated Peetz, Colo. high school in 1999 and attended Chadron State College. He is employed as a carpet consultant.

The newlyweds are making their home in Fort Collins and plan on taking a honeymoon cruise out of Florida later this winter.
