Georgia M. Adamson

TRENTON -- Georgia Marie Adamson, 82, died Sunday (Sept. 17, 2006) at her residence west of Trenton.

She was born July 13, 1924, at Bartley to Aaron Fremont and Anna D. (Reese) Ohlson. She grew up in the Hayes Center Community whre she graduated from Hayes Center High School in 1942. She later graduated from McCook Junior College and the Parks Business College in Denver, Colo.

She returned to Hayes Center and taught rural schools for many years. On Aug. 21, 1950, she married Bernard Nolan Adamson. They farmed and lived in the Trenton community.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Nolan on Nov. 3, 1984; one son Vaughn Lee; one brother, Francis Ohlson; and a sister, Evelyn Neyhardt.

Survivors include her son, Wayne L. Adamson of Hastings.

Funeral services are Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Church of God in Trenton, with the Rev. Johnny Walker officiating. Interment will follow in the Trenton Cemetery at Trenton.
