CAMBRIDGE -- Darlene Grace Cox Kinne, 79, died Friday (Sept. 15, 2006) at the Cambridge Manor. 

She was born in Meridian, Kan., on June 30, 1927, to Ralph E. and Katherine "Katie" (Kuehn) Wyman Sr.  The family lived in northern Kansas and later moved to Nebraska. 

She was married to Alva Cox.

On May 15, 1951 she married Lloyd Leonard Kinne.  The family lived in the Wilsonville, Indianola area and settled in Cambridge.  Leonard preceded her in death on Nov. 1, 1972.

 She was employed by the Cambridge Memorial Hospital as a nurse's aid and later in housekeeping.  She retired from the hospital in 1998. 

She was a member of the Royal Neighbors and volunteered at the Cambridge Thrift Shop.

She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands: Alva and Leonard; one brother: Robert; two sisters: Evelyn Brown and Twila Archer; one grandchild, Susan Cox; a great granddaughter, Mary Beth Heinen and one great-grandchild.

 Survivors include her daughter, Elsie and husband, Tom Heinen of Arapahoe; three sons, Steve and wife Brenda Cox of Cozad, Roy and wife, Kandra Kinne of Cambridge and Ed and wife, Gretchen of Grand Island; one brother Ralph E. "Ernie" Wyman of Albuquerque, NM.; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

 Funeral services were Monday at the Lockenour-Jones Mortuary in Cambridge with the Rev. David Rowe officiating.  Interment was at the Wilsonville Cemetery. 

Memorials may be left in her name to the American Heart Foundation or Diabetes Foundation.

 Lockenour-Jones Mortuary in Cambridge was in charge of arrangements.
