Daisy and Matthew Tiller

Daisy Snyder and Matthew Tiller, both of McCook were united in marriage Jan. 14, 2006, at the United Methodist Church in McCook, with the Rev. Jeff Thurman officiating.

Parents of the couple are Lee and Linda Snyder of McCook and Jim and Theresa Tiller of Curtis. Grandparents are Vern Jorgensen of Curtis, Darlene and the late Ben Russell of East Moline, Ill., Delma and the late Orval (Bud) Snyder, Norma Snyder, Gene and Joan Gerver and Bob and Vonnie Tiller all of McCook.

Lori Bortner of North Platte served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jill Wilson of Maywood, Kristen Harris of Indianola, Chelsey Tiller of St. Joseph, Mo., sister of the bridegroom and Bambi Ruppert of Kearney. The junior bridesmaid was Elizabeth Jacobs of Lincoln.

Bret Tiller, of Gothenburg brother of the bridegroom, served as best man. Bridegroomsmen were Alex Haag and Brandon Kisker both of Indianola.

Cameron Lashley, cousin of the bride, served as flowergirl. Jared Bartels, cousin of the bridegroom, Mitt Lashley cousin of the bride, and Conner Snyder, nephew of the bride, were ringbearers.

The ushers were RaeAnn Burton of Omaha, cousin of the bride, Maggie Tiller of Gothenburg, sister-in-law of the bridegroom, Jon Harris of Indianola and Chris Russell of Broken Bow.

Candlelighters were Colton Lashley of McCook, cousin of the bride, and Stacie Bartels of Omaha, cousin of the bridegroom.

Wendy Wilson of Stockville was the guestbook attendant. Music for the ceremony was provided by pianist Mitchell Hansen of Fort Collins, Colo., cousin of the bridegroom and the soloist was Stephanie Kock of Omaha.

A reception at the Community Building on the Red Willow County Fairgrounds in McCook followed the ceremony. The host couples were Bob and Barb Bortner of McCook, John and Lori Bartels of Omaha, cousins of the bridegroom, and Tom and Lana Lashley of McCook, uncle and aunt of the bride.

Reception assistants were Ron and Kathy Messersmith of McCook and Pat and Sandy Messersmith of Maywood. Cheryl Teel, Nancy Schmitz, Charla Werkmeister, all of Maywood, Janie Wilson of Stockville and Chris Walker of Hayes Center served the cake made by Kay Oltmer of Indianola.

The bride is a graduate of the University of Nebraska at Kearney. She is a special education teacher at Central Elementary in McCook. The bridegroom is also a graduate of the University of Nebraska at Kearney. He is employed as a business banking officer at McCook National Bank in McCook.

The couple honeymooned in Las Vegas, Nev. and are making their home in McCook
