Owens, Reitz wedding
NORTH PLATTE -- Misty D. Owens and Christopher A. Reitz were united in marriage on May 11, 2006, in a private ceremony in North Platte. The couple is planning a formal wedding and reception after Chris returns from Iraq. Chris will deploy for Iraq in July for approximately a year.
Parents of the bride are Larry and Marcia Owens of Curtis. Grand-parents are Marilyn Owens of Curtis and Al and Irene Rieden of Colorado Springs, Colo.
Parents of the bridegroom are Pam and Craig Cook of Wasilla, Alaska and Alan Reitz. Grandparents are Charles and Sara Stout of Hershey, Marilyn Cook of Sutherland, Lloyd Boyer of Sutherland, and John and Nila Reitz of Fort Pierce, Fla.
Misty is a 2003 graduate of Medicine Valley High School in Curtis and is currently employed as a phlebotomist with the American Red Cross. Chris is a 2002 graduate of Hershey High School and is currently employed with the Nebraska Army National Guard 1074th Transportation Company. The couple is making their home in North Platte.
