Buffalo, Wyo. -- Marlene Ann Neleigh, 71, of Buffalo, Wyo., died of cancer, Tuesday (April 25, 2006), at her home.

She was born Nov. 15, 1934, in Trenton, to Harry and Vadna (Cohrs) Buhler. She was raised and educated in Trenton, graduating in May 1952.

She married Kenneth Nealeigh on June 7, 1953, in Trenton.

The couple made their home in Denver. She was a homemaker while her children were young. As the children got older, she worked as a bank teller.

In 1977, the she moved with her family to Gillette, Wyo., where her husband servedas the minister of the Church of Christ and Marlene served as his partner in the ministry. Because of the nature of her husband's work, the family lived in different areas of Colorado, Wyoming, Montana and South Dakota.

Over the last 10 years, she has worked with the Bear Valley Bible Institute, training others for the ministry.

In 2004, the couple moved to Buffalo, Wyo.

She was preceded in death by her father.

She is survived by her husband, Ken of Buffalo; a son Rod and wife, Linda Nealeigh of Curitiba, Brazil; a daugther, Candi and husband, Glenn Staudinger of Gillette, Wyo.; her mother, Vadna Buhler of Trenton; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services were Saturday, April 29, at Stevenson Funeral Home Chapel in Gillette, Wyo. Interment followed at the Willow Grove Cemetery in Buffalo.
