SCOTTSBLUFF -- Jeannette Ethel Krumme, 94, died Wednesday (March 1, 2006) at Regional West Hospital in Scottsbluff.

She was born Aug. 15, 1911, in Furnas County to Elmer and Myrtle (Balcom) Sams. She graduated from Holbrook High School in 1928.

She married Ralph E. Krumme at St. Germanus Catholic Church in Arapahoe on Dec. 15, 1932. They moved to Porterville, Calif., in 1947 and lived there for three years before returning to Nebraska. They returned to Porterville in 1956 and lived there until 1960, returning again to Nebraska. In 1972, they moved to Arapahoe. In 2003, she moved to Scottsbluff.

She was a housekeeper and telephone operator.

She was a member of St. Germanus Catholic Church and Altar Society in Arapahoe.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralph in 1984; and brother, Warren Sams.

Survivors include nieces, Shirley and husband, Gene Cummins of Scottsbluff, Sandy and husband, Roy Beins of Chanute, Kan., and Joyce Miller of Scottsbluff.

Services will be Monday, 10 a.m., at St. Germanus Catholic Church in Arapahoe with the Rev. Robert Barnhill officiating. Interment will be at the Arapahoe Cemetery.

Rosary will be Monday, 8:45 a.m., at the church. Visitation will be Sunday, 1-8 p.m., at Wenburg Funeral Home in Arapahoe and prior to services at the church.
