CURTIS -- Terry Edward Storm, 64, died Thursday (Oct. 20, 2005) at the Cozad Community Hospital.

He was born June 23, 1941, to Forrest and Joyce Y. (Loewe) Storm east of Royal. He graduated from Royal High School in 1958. He attended Norfolk Junior College and received his bachelor's degree from Wayne State College. He received a master's degree in elementary education from Kearney State College and a master's degree in administration from Black Hills State College in Spearfish, S.D.

He married Waneta Kay Chmela on March 14, 1997, in Hastings.

He taught school and and retired as a elementary principal.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Waneta Storm of Curtis; daughters, Denise Blevins of Norfolk, Tracey Chaplain and husband, Sean of Shawnee, Kan., Teri Rae and husband, Gerry Moore of Omaha and Mary Storm of Curtis; son, Eric Storm of Camp LeJeune, N.C.; stepchildren, Jill and husband, David Duryea of Stromsburg and Kay Kaczor of Curtis; brothers, Ron Storm of Neligh and Garold Storm of Omaha; and four grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, 2 p.m., at Medicine Valley High School Gymnasium with the Rev. Ferdinand Boehme as celebrant. Rosary will be Sunday, 7 p.m., at the St. James Catholic Church in Curtis.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, 2 p.m., in the Royal Cemetery in Royal with the Rev. Roger Good officiating. Lunch will follow at the Royal Auditorium.

Visitation will be Saturday, 9 a.m.-9 p.m., and Sunday, 1-5 p.m., at Blase-Wetzel Funeral Home.

Memorials are being accepted in his name at the American Cancer Society.

Blase-Wetzel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
