Nick and Lindsey Koehn

INDIANOLA -- Lindsey Haag and Nick Koehn, both of Lincoln, were united in marriage Saturday, June 4, 2005, at St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Indianola, with the Rev. Nicholas Baker officiating.

Parents of the couple are Bob and Kathy Haag of Indianola and Frank and Vickey Koehn of Johnson Lake.

Grandparents of the couple are Evelyn Haag of Indianola, the late Alfred Haag, Sue Galusha of McCook, the late Jack Galusha, Jack and Ethel Jones of Lexington, Doll Nielson of Lexington, the late Milo Koehn and the late Paul Nielson.

The bride wore a floor-length, ivory satin and lace trimmed gown with pearls and crystals. She had a chapel-length, lace trimmed veil with pearls and crystals and carried a bouquet of ivory roses with sage green ribbon.

Chelsey Cerny of Lincoln served as matron of honor and Mindy Humphrey of Omaha was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Codina Schutz of Elwood and Elizabeth Haag of Liberty, Mo., sister-in-law of the bride. They wore black, floor-length dresses and carried long-stemmed, ivory roses with sage green ribbon.

The bridegroom's brothers, Kent Koehn of Gothenburg and Shane Koehn of North Platte, both served as best man. Bridegroomsmen were Tyler Hampton of Hoisington, Kan., and Ryan Beaman of Denver, Colo.

The bride's personal attendant was Deb Lafferty of McCook.

Ushers were Andrew Haag of Liberty, brother of the bride; Alex Haag of Indianola, brother of the bride; Dillon Cerny of Lincoln; and Brent Cain of Lincoln.

Tim Lord of Indianola was the acolyte. Bob Haag of Indianola, father of the bride, was the lector. Altar servers were, cousins of the bride, Clay Jordan of McCook and Isaac Jordan of Central City.

Flower girls were Brittney Jefferson of Central City, cousin of the bride, and Makenna Koehn of North Platte, niece of the bridegroom. Ring bearers were Dylan Haag of Liberty, nephew of the bride, and Steven Koehn of North Platte, nephew of the bridegroom.

Rachel Kreski of Omaha, cousin of the bridegroom; Debbie Dolan of Indianola; Bernie Walz of Indianola; Sara Kreski of Omaha, cousin of the bridegroom; and Kerri Unger of McCook were in charge of programs. Guestbook attendants were Courtney Jefferson of Central City, cousin of the bride, and Jody Jordan of Indianola, cousin of the bride.

A reception at the Red Willow County Community Building in McCook followed the ceremony. Reception hosts were Dick and Janet Haag of Indianola, uncle and aunt of the bride; Randy and Darla Jordan of McCook, uncle and aunt of the bride; and Bill and Lynda Baumbach of Indianola. The theme of the reception was a garden with ivory roses, peonies, lilacs and ivy. Reception assistants were Kendra Jefferson of Central City, aunt of the bride; Dianne Jones of Riverdale, aunt of the bride; and Connie Jewett of Lexington, aunt of the bridegroom. Connie Jewett also baked and decorated a five-tier, ivory and white cake.

The bride is a graduate of the University of Nebraska. She is employed as an accounting clerk at Baur Built. The bridegroom is a graduate of the University of Nebraska. He is employed as the manager of the building materials department at Menards.

The couple honeymooned in Las Vegas, Nev., and will be making their home in Lincoln.
