Lyndee and Christopher Krueger

OXFORD -- Lyndee Jo Brown of Oxford and Christopher Michael Krueger of Pierce were united in marriage Dec. 18, 2004, at the Oxford Methodist Church with the Rev. Robert Berle officiating. David Hunt provided the message.

Parents of the couple are Leroy and Lynette Brown of Oxford, Michael and Miriam Krueger of Pierce and the late Joyce Krueger.

Grandparents are Gene and Beulah Ten Hulzen of Firth, Dick and Marjorie Dyas of Oxford, Delbert and Lynal Krueger, Darlene Froehlich, all of Pierce, and Glenn and Sylvia Uecker of Lincoln. Great-aunt of the bride is Marjorie Phelps of McCook.

The bride wore an ivory, satin, princess-line gown with a wine-colored, satin off-the-shoulder neckline, flocked with rhinestones. The bodice was accented with a floral-shaped design made with pearls, wine-colored beading and a center rhinestone. The back panel was also enhanced with the pearl floral design and was edged with wine-colored satin. The back was gathered with a small, flat bow and fell into a semi-cathedral length train, sprinkled with rhinestones. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of red and white roses, accented with pine cones and holly.

The bridegroom wore a single breasted black tuxedo with a white vest and a tie. He wore a red rose and holly boutonniere, accented with a gold ribbon.

The maid of honor was Hannah Rood of Palmyra. Bridesmaids were Lindsey Tarkington of Orleans, Courtney Krueger, sister of the bridegroom, Renelle Hartzof of Holdrege and Michelle Pavelka of Blue Hill. They each wore a gown made of wine-colored dupioni silk. They carried silk poinsettia pomanders designed by the bride. The bride's personal attendants were Nicole Erickson and Amber Holl.

The best man was Casey Krueger of Pierce, brother of the bridegroom. Bridegroomsmen were Josh Krueger of Seward, Lance Test of Pierce, Eric Knobbe of Lincoln and Troy Panning of Fremont. They each wore black tuxedos with wine-colored vests.

The flower girl was Kaitlyn Brown, niece of the bride. She wore a white gown made of bridal satin. It was accented with pearl and wine beading and tied with a wine sash. The ring bearer was Parker Bauman, cousin of the bridegroom. He wore a single-breasted tuxedo that matched the bridegrooms.

Ushers were Lance Cummins-Brown and Lucas Brown, brothers of the bride, Austin Krueger and Tyler Krueger, cousins of the bridegroom.

Music was provided by the Cottonwood String Quartet of Kearney. The soloist was Travis Carpenter.

The guestbook attendants were Bobbie Krueger and Christina Prince, both of Pierce. Gift attendants were Amanda and Michelle Krueger. The wedding coordinators were Kelli Cummins Brown and Jill Brown, sisters-in-law of the bride. Program attendants were cousins of the bride, Faith and Barrett Huenke.

The reception was at the Harlan County Ag Center in Orleans and was hosted by Mike and Kim Bauman, Stewart and Jolene Huenke, Dan and Pam Schmit, Dale Rood and Riley, Nancy and Kurt Tarkington and Brian and Deb Zautke. The bridal cake was made by Susanne Peterson. The bridegroom's cake was made by Sherry Krueger, aunt of the bridegroom. Cake servers were Janice Koehler, Jackie Bosn, Joan Klug and Rose Froehlich, aunts of the bridegroom. Reception music was provided by Chris Kroese.

The bride is a 2001 graduate of Southern Valley High School with plans to graduate in May 2005 from the University of Nebraska with a degree in ag business. She is employed with the University's Ag Economics Department. She plans to accept a position at US 92 Radio in Norfolk.

The bridegroom is a 2001 graduate of Pierce High School and also plans to graduate in May 2005 from the University of Nebraska with a degree in ag business. He plans to return to Pierce to the family farm in May.

The couple lives in Lincoln and plans to move to Pierce.
