NORTH PLATTE -- Rebecca J. Durst and John R. Steele were united in marriage Dec. 4, 2004, at The Lighthouse, Four Square Church in North Platte with the Rev. Jerry Skinner officiating.
Parents of the couple are Ken and Connie Bible of North Platte, Judy Steele and Dave Mullen and Larry and Sue Steele, all of North Platte.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Harvey and Erma Wallace and Frances Steele, all of North Platte.
The bride's best man was her son, Brandon Fimple. The matron of honor was Susan Matson of McCook. The maid of honor was Cindy Somers of North Platte.
The bridegroom's best man was his son, Michael Kepler-Steele. Bridegroomsmen were Scott Steele, brother of the bridegroom, and James Tridle, both of North Platte.
The flower girl was Marilese Tridle of North Platte, godchild of the couple. The ringbearer was Kort Steele of North Platte, nephew of the bridegroom.
Candlelighters were Mariah and Mikayla Carney of Michigan. The guestbook attendant was Phyllis Carnet of Michigan.
The soloist was Heather Harvey.
Servers were Kelly Fitchhorn of Grand Island, cousin of the bride, Patrice Snider and Amanda Reitz, both of North Platte.
The reception was at Becky's Hall of Celebrations.
The couple lives in North Platte.
