HERNDON -- Frances Apollonia (Versch) Jankovits, 86, died Saturday (Feb. 19, 2005) in Trenton.

She was born Feb. 23, 1918, in Herndon to Ralph and Emma (Lorentz) Versch.

She married Clarence Joseph Jankovits who preceded her in death. She was a homemaker.

She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Herndon and the St. Mary's Christian Mother's Altar Society of Herndon.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clarence; two brothers, Gerald and Richard; and two sisters, Gladys Huff and Carolyn Williams.

Survivors include three sons, Clarence Jr. and wife, Kay of Culbertson, Robert "Bob" and wife, Kristene of Fredericksburg, Va., and Gery and wife, Roxanna of Adrian, Mich.; one sister, Lucille Smith of Norton; nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Services are Wednesday, 10 a.m., at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Herndon with the Rev. Damian Richard officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Herndon.

Visitation is today until 9 p.m., and Tuesday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., at Brantley Funeral Home in Atwood.

The rosary is Tuesday, 7 p.m., at the church.

Memorials may be given to the donor's choice.
