ARAPAHOE -- Iva Pearl Breinig, 94, died Tuesday (Jan. 25, 2005) at CA Mues Good Samaritan Center in Arapahoe.

She was born June 18, 1910, to Robert A. and Silva (Fischer) Richardson in Edison. She attended rural school and graduated from Arapahoe High School in 1929. She taught at a rural school northeast of Arapahoe called The Lone Tree School and then taught at Gardner School.

On March 2, 1932, she married Earnest L. Breinig. The couple made their home in Holbrook and then moved to Arapahoe. In the early 1950's they moved to an area south of Cambridge. In 1970, when her husband's health began to fail, they moved back to Arapahoe. She worked at CA Mues Good Samaritan Center for 6 1/2 years. She entered the Good Samaritan Center in June of 1993 when her eye site failed.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Earnest; infant brother; and one sister.

Survivors include her daughter, Delores and husband, Floyd Fisher of Arapahoe; four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Services are Saturday, 2 p.m., at First United Methodist Church of Arapahoe with the Rev. Hyeongdong Baek officiating. Interment will be at the Arapahoe Cemetery in Arapahoe.

Visitation is today, 1-8 p.m., and Friday, 9 a.m.-8 p.m., at Wenburg Funeral Home in Arapahoe and prior to services at the church.
