Sharla Hess and Bill Bieck were united in marriage Aug. 14, 2004, at the Evangelical Free Church with the Rev. Brian Gregg officiating.

Wilma Bieck of Fremont, mother of the bridegroom, was an honored guest.

Guests were the attendants.

Ryan Bieck of Missouri Valley, Iowa, Tyler Bieck of Lincoln and Tony Bieck of McCook, all sons of the bridegroom, were ushers for the ceremony.

Camerin Burtle of North Platte, great-niece of the bride, was the flower girl.

The reception was at the Heritage Hills Clubhouse. Cheryl Bales of North Platte, sister of the bride, Angie Arndt of Hamption, niece of the bridegroom, and Marilyn Bieck of Encinitas, Calif., sister of the bridegroom, were reception assistants.

The couple honeymooned in Las Vegas, Nev.

The bride is employed with Burns International in McCook and the bridegroom is the golf course superintendent at Heritage Hills Golf Course in McCook.
