IMPERIAL -- Loren Eugene Webster, 63, died Wednesday (Sept. 8, 2004) at the Chase County Hospital in Imperial.

He was born Oct. 31, 1940, to Bert and Doris (Ressiquie) Webster in Cambridge. He grew up in Oxford where he graduated from Oxford High School in 1958. He began working for the Phelps County Dairy Processing Company in Holdrege.

On April 3, 1959, he married Lavonne Walker. The couple made their home in Holdrege. They moved to Scottsbluff in 1969. He worked construction and later in meat processing until 1986, when they moved to Colorado Springs, Colo.

On June 7, 24003, he married Rebecca Deguzman. The couple moved to Palisade where he spent the remainder of his life.

He was preceded in death by his son, Jonathan in 1968; one brother, Lyle; and one sister, Shirley Dierker.

Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Webster of Palisade; two sons, Timothy Webster and wife, Lee of Stratton; Daniel Webster of Palisade; two daughters, Peggy Lewis and husband, Michael of Denver, Colo., and Rebecca Mendizabal of Aurora, Colo; one brother, Jerry Webster of Lincoln; three sisters, Sherrie Webster of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Patty Benjamin and husband, Billy of Johnson Lake and Joyce Lawler and husband, Dick of McAllen, Texas; and five grandchildren.

Services are Monday, 10:30 a.m., at Herrmann Memorial Chapel in McCook with the Revs. Russ Armstrong and Eddie Nicandro officiating. Interment will be in the Cambridge Cemetery.

Memorials may be given in his name and friends may call at Herrmann Funeral Home in McCook today until 9 p.m., and Sunday, 1-6 p.m.
