Stephanie L. Porter and Travis J. Ruppert were united in marriage June 19, 2004, at Bolles Canyon in McCook. Parents of the couple are Rick and Faith Porter of Hugo, Colo., and Bearnie and Pam Ruppert of Hayes Center. The bride is a 2001 graduate of Genoa-Hugo High School and a 2003 graduate of NMS Community College with a degree in business administration. She is employed at Herbergers. The bridegroom is a 2002 graduate of Hayes Center High School and is attending Mid-Plains Community College pursuing a degree in nursing. He is employed with Linden Court, working as a CNA. The couple makes their home in Maxwell.
