Diana Dell (Anderson) Doetker

NORTH PLATTE -- Diana Dell (Anderson) Doetker, 59, died Saturday (Feb. 7, 2004) at Great Plains Regional Medical Center in North Platte.

She was born Aug. 30, 1944, to Andy and Verna (Samuelson) Anderson in McCook. She attended school in Guffy, Colo. In 1951, the family moved back to Nebraska, living north of Wauneta. She graduated from Wauneta High School in 1962.

On May 22, 1966, she married Gary Edward Doetker in Wauneta. She was employed at the Co-op Grocery Store, Darts Hardware, Wauneta Falls Bank, Frenchman Valley Co-op and the Kugler Company.

She was preceded in death by her father, Andy Anderson; a nephew, Andrew Robert Anderson; and in-laws, John and Lena Doetker.

Survivors include her husband, Gary; one daughter, Mindy Propp and husband, Kerwin; her mother, Verna Anderson; two brothers, Ted and wife, Carolyn Anderson of Wauneta, Harold (Peco) and wife, Doretta Anderson of Wauneta; brother and sister-in-law, Virgil and Judy Doetker of Palisade; sister-in-law, Norma; and two grandchildren.

Services are Wednesday, 10:30 a.m. (MST), at First United Methodist Church in Wauneta with the Revs. Michael Laing and Daniel Spearow officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery in Wauneta.

Visitation is Tuesday, 2-6 p.m. (MST), at Liewer Funeral Home in Wauneta

A memorial has been established in her name.
