Betty Everett Hall Rheault

Betty Everett Hall Rheault, 85, died Sunday (September 23, 2001) at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.

She was born March 12, 1916, at Scottsbluff, to Mae (Doughty) and Lee Everett. She attended the Scottsbluff schools, graduating in 1934. She attended the University of Nebraska for one year, and in January 1936, she attended Barnes Business School in Denver, Colo.

On Jan. 18, 1937, she married Everett E. Hall. They lived on the Hall farm for ten years before moving to Scottsbluff in 1946. He preceded her in death on June 4, 1959. She continued living in Scottsbluff for several years. On Oct. 10, 1967, she married Edward G. Rheault at McCook. In December 1971, they moved to LeHigh Acres, Fla. He preceded her in death on July 10, 1983. She continued living in Florida until 1989, when she returned to McCook.

She was a charter member of the Plymouth Congregational Church in Scottsbluff. She was a member of the First Congregational Church in McCook. and P.E.O.

She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands, Everett and Edward; three brothers, Fredrick, Richard and Donald Everett; and one sister, Marjorie Barr.

Survivors include one daughter, Virginia and husband, Kendall Rice of Wilsonville; one son, Howard Hall and wife, Alberta of Fargo, N.D.; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two step great-grandchildren

Services will be Thursday, 10 a.m. at the First Congregational Church in McCook with the Rev. Rod Church officiating. Graveside services will be Friday, 11:30 a.m. MDT, at the Fairview Cemetery in Scottsbluff with the Rev. Jay Warren officiating.

Visitation in McCook is today until 5 p.m., and Wednesday 9 a.m to 8 p.m. Visitation in Scottsbluff will be Friday at the Scottsbluff Plymouth Congregational Church in Scottsbluff, 9 to 11 a.m.

Memorials may be given in her name to the McCook Congregational Church or Plymouth Congregational Church in Scottsbluff.
