WICHITA, Kan. -- Janet S. Latimer, 67, died Wednesday (Nov. 14, 2001) at her home in Wichita.

She was born March 29, 1934, at Denver, Colo., to Gurney and Florence (Lancaster) Hinshaw. She grew up in Denver, graduating from Denver East High School, and Rockmount Bible College. She has lived in Rexford, Kan., Colorado, California, Indonesia, Africa, and Wichita, Kan. On Aug. 11, 1956, she married Gerald Latimer at Denver. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Gerald Latimer of Wichita; two sons, Timothy Latimer and wife, Stacy, and Thomas Latimer all of Wichita; one daughter, Trisha Murphy and husband, Charles of Wichita; and 11 grandchildren.

Services and interment will be Saturday, 11 a.m., at the Rexford Cemetery with the Rev. Gary Taylor officiating.

Visitation will be Saturday, 8 - 10 a.m., at Pauls Funeral Home of Selden.

Memorials may be given in her name.
