Teresa (Dozbaba) Beamgard

ATWOOD -- Teresa (Dozbaba) Beamgard, 68, died Tuesday (Nov. 27, 2001) at Hays Medical Center in Hays, Kan.

She was born Dec. 23, 1932, at Stratton to Joseph and Rosa (Chvatal) Dozbaba. She graduated from Atwood High School in 1951.

On Aug. 14, 1972, she married Rodney "Rod" D. Beamgard. She was a homemaker, a clerk for Bellamy Drug, Currier Drug and Country Classic.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and the Christian Mothers Altar Society, both of Atwood.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Dan and Joseph "Joie" Dozbaba; sisters, Alby Skalka and Alice Kogl.

Survivors include her husband, Rod of Atwood; two brothers, Paul Dozbaba and wife, Thelma of Arvada, Colo., and Richard Dozbaba and wife, Delphine of Atwood; and one sister, RoseAnn Skalka of Deweese.

Mass of Christian Burial services will be Friday, 10 a.m., at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Atwood with the Rev. Damian Richards officiating. Interment will be at the Atwood Fairview Cemetery in Atwood.

A vigil and rosary service will be Thursday, 6:30 p.m., at Brantley Funeral Chapel of Atwood.

Memorials may be given in her name to the Second Century Fund or to the donor's choice.
