Christina Ellen Helm

INDIANOLA -- Christina Ellen Helm, 17, died Saturday (March 23, 2002) near Perry, west of McCook, of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.

She was born Nov. 3, 1984, to Mark Walter and Victoria "Vicki" Elizabeth (Barlow) Helm at North Platte. She was a Junior at Republican Valley High School. She sang in the high school choir and was a past band member. She was a life guard at the Indianola pool. She lived most of her life in the Indianola area.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Roger Helm; and great grandparents.

Survivors include her parents; a brother, Benjamin Wesley Helm of Lincoln; and grandparents, Norma Helm of Indianola and Alvin and Ellen Barlow of Culbertson.

Services will be Tuesday, 10 a.m., at the Indianola Church of Christ with Jerry Beckenhauer officiating. The casket will remain closed.

Burial will be in the Danbury-Marion Cemetery.

Visitation is today at the Carpenter Funeral Home in Indianola.

Memorials may be given in her name.
