LEBANON -- Harry Dean Warner, 76, died Thursday (April 25, 2002) at his home.

He was born May 10, 1925, to Harry and Aril (Ankenman) Warner at Lebanon. He graduated from Lebanon High School in 1943.

On July 29, 1950, he married Elizabeth "Betty" Hope Ward in Lebanon. He worked for Winchester Firearms as Gun Club manager for many years. He had lived in Lebanon for 75 years.

He served in the U. S. Army during World War II from 1943 - 1946.

He was a member of the McCook Elks Lodge No. 1434, Eagles, American Legion and was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Betty of Lebanon; a son, Marion Warner of Lebanon; a daughter, Margaret and husband, Raymond Goodenberger of Hershey; three brothers, Neal and wife, Frances Warner of Lebanon, Gail and wife, Lori Warner of Holbrook and Dale and wife, Sharon Warner of Weleetka, Okla.; three sisters, Virginia Schroder of Blair, Ramona and husband, Clyde Chambers of Arapahoe and Danny and husband, Larry Blackman of Bartley; one grandchild; and two great grandchildren.

Graveside inurnment services will be Saturday, 2 p.m., at the Lebanon Cemetery with Jerry Beckenhauer officiating. There will be no visitation due to the cremation of the body.

Memorials may be given in his name.
