Arthur 'Art' Ficken

EUSTIS -- Arthur "Art" Ficken, 83, died Friday (July 5, 200) at Phelps Memorial Health Center in Holdredge.

He was born Dec. 29, 1918, to John and Joanna (Noltensmeier) Ficken south of Eustis. He lived his entire life on the family farm. He was a farmer.

He was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church and Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.

He was preceded in death by brother-in-law, Willie Wickenkamp and one niece.

Survivors include one sister, Alvena Wickenkamp of Elwood; three brothers, Herman and wife, Edna of Elwood, Raymond and wife, Betty of Cambridge and Harvey and wife, Corrine of Eustis.

Services will be Monday, 10:30 a.m., at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Elwood with Pastor Richard Boring officiating. Interment will be in the West Salem Cemetery southwest of Elwood.

Visitation will be Sunday, 4-8 p.m., at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.

A memorial has been established in his memory.
