OBERLIN -- Dorothy Eva Fisher, 99, died Tuesday (Dec. 24, 2002) at the Mariner Health Center in Denver, Colo.

She was born June 23, 1903, in Oberlin, to William and Mary (Zwickle) Cook. She graduated from Decatur Community High School with the Class of 1921. She lived and worked in Oklahoma for a time and later moved to Denver.

On Oct. 7, 1944, she married William Edward Fisher. She had resided at the Mariner Health Center for the past two and one-half years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William in 1992; one brother, Herb Cook; and a sister, Faye Cook.

Survivors include various cousins and friends.

Graveside services will be Sunday, 2 p.m., at the Oberlin Cemetery at Oberlin with the Rev. Royce Leitner officiating. Inurnment will be in the Oberlin Cemetery.

Memorials may be given in her name.

Pauls Funeral Home of Oberlin is in charge of arrangements.
