Anna Beaty and Anthony Kerr announce their engagement and upcoming wedding. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Ken Leggette of Castle Rock, Colo., Mr. and Mrs. Michael Beaty of Boise, Idaho and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Kerr of Indianola. Grandparents of the prospective bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Couse of McCook. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Mesa State College in Grand Junction, Colo., and is the arts and entertainment reporter for the Daily Sentinel in Grand Junction. The prospective bridegroom is also a graduate of Mesa State College and is an assistant coach for the Mesa State Mavericks football team. The couple is planning a June 21, 2003, in Grand Juction.
