Nellie M. Currie

Nellie M. Currie, 90, died Saturday (June 7, 2003) at Community Hospital of McCook.

She was born Oct. 5, 1912, at Lost Springs, Kan., to Ernest and Alice (Mailen) Teel. She was a homemaker and had been a waitress in Randolph and Manhattan, Kan., and had worked in the Farm Bureau Cafeteria, before retiring in 1982.

She was married to Eldred "Ike" Harper, Kenneth Pultz and Clyde Currie. They all preceded her in death.

Survivors include one son, Warren Harper and wife, Pauline of Holbrook; one brother, G.E. Teel of Havre, Mont.; three grandsons; and one great-granddaughter.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, 10:30 a.m., at the Holmes-Pfeifley Funeral Home in Riley, Kan. Burial will be at the Randolph Fancy Creek Cemetery north of Randolph, Kan.

Visitation will be today and Tuesday at the funeral home in Riley. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m., Tuesday evening.

A memorial has been established to the Alzheimer's Association.
