Wilma Rose Seybold

CAMBRIDGE -- Wilma Rose Seybold, 70, died Wednesday (Aug. 6, 2003) at Cambridge Memorial Hospital in Cambridge.

She was born July 17, 1933, to Charlie and Minervie (Lewis) Seymour in Hayes County. She attended school at White Eagle District Six, Alma High School, Hayes Center High School and Culbertson High School. She graduated from Culbertson High School in 1951. After graduation she attended McCook Junior College and graduated from Kearney State College in 1968.

She taught school at Culbertson Frontier Rural School and Holbrook for a total of 30 years. She retired in 1981.

On December 7, 1951, she married Lyman S. Seybold. The couple made their home near Trenton and later moved to Cambridge. She was active with the Cambridge Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Robert Seymour and Kenneth Seymour.

Survivors include her husband, Lyman Seybold; one son, Lyman W. Seybold and wife, Patricia of McGregor, Minn.; brother, Clifford Seymour and wife, Shirley of Park City, Mont.; and two grandchildren.

Services are Saturday, 11:30 a.m., at Trinity United Methodist Church in Cambridge with Pastor David Rowe officiating. Interment will be at Trenton Cemetery in Trenton, 2 p.m., with Pastor Bill Lewis officiating.

Memorials can be given to Furnas County American Cancer Society.
