Alice Norman

Alice Estelle Norman, age 83, of Cambridge, NE passed away with her family by her side on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at her home in Cambridge.

Alice was born April 22, 1942 in McCook, NE to parents James P. Norton and Mildred L. Carfield. She was one of three siblings. Alice attended school in McCook.

On March 31, 1979, Alice married Dion E. Norman in McCook.

Alice enjoyed being a homemaker and caretaker for her family. She loved her grandkids and great grandkids dearly and loved spending time with them. Her hobbies included reading, sewing, baking, cooking, crafts, painting, making flower arrangements and attending Bible studies. Alice’s faith was very important to her, and she regularly attended Calvary Baptist Church in Cambridge, NE.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dion Norman; daughter, Tammy Bravehawk; sisters, Wilma Hayden and Charlotte Matson; and a grandson, John Serrano.

Those left to celebrate her memory include her daughter, Belinda (Frank) Serrano of Bird City, KS; grandchildren, Jessika (Kenny) Weaver of Cambridge, NE, Dakota (Victoria) McBride of McCook, NE, Matthew McBride of Trenton, NE, Jacob (Laurie) Serrano of Bird City, KS and Emily Serrano of Bird City, KS; great grandchildren, BrookLynne, IzzaBella, KynLeigh and Miranda Weaver, and Oliver and Benjamin McBride. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.

A Memorial Service was hosted by Alice’s family will be held at 4:30pm on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Calvary Baptist Church in Cambridge, NE with Pastor Geoffrey Plummer officiating.

Private family inurnment will take place at a later date in the Cedar Bluffs Cemetery, Cedar Bluffs, KS.
