Bison varsity, JV golf boys both outdual host Ogallala

OGALLALA, Neb. — The McCook High golf boys delivered another victory on Tuesday and coach Ben Vetrovsky provided these details:
"McCook Bison Boys Golf traveled to Ogallala on Tuesday to play in a dual with Ogallala at Crandall Creek Golf Course.
Bison came away with their third victory of the year shooting at a team score of 163. Bison JV team was second with a score of 168. Ogallala's varsity team shot 172 while their JV shot 228.
Senior Landon Kmoch won the dual with a score of 37. Junior Trenton Raile was 2nd scoring a 38, and sophomore Cruz McCarty was tied for 3rd shooting a 39.

The high winds make it tougher conditions on the golf course. Nice to see both varsity and JV teams compete at a high level. Landon, Trenton, and Cruz all had really nice performances, breaking the 40 mark on the day. There is strong competition within our team and I am excited to see our younger players grow and develop. We are going to prepare for the Kearney Invite that comes Friday."
