Weather stories topic for First Tuesday

McCOOK, Neb. — They say if you don’t like the weather in Nebraska, wait a few minutes and it will change.

Whether or not this is true, the unpredictable weather certainly makes for interesting stories.

To that end, the Buffalo Commons Storytelling and Music Festival planning committee will start this year’s First Tuesday series with weather stories on September 3 from 7 to 8 p.m. at Embers Bakery and Café.

Greg Tetley, area storm chaser, will be the featured speaker. There will also be time for tales from anyone who wants to share their own weather adventures. As always, listeners are welcome as well.
