Dundy County Stratton Alumni Banquet is May 25

BENKELMAN, Neb. - It is time to start making plans to attend the annual Dundy County Stratton Alumni Banquet! Graduates from Benkelman, Dundy County, Dundy County Stratton, Haigler, Max, Parks and Stratton are invited to the banquet on Saturday, May 25, starting at 6 p.m. MDT at the Dundy County Stratton High School gym.

The DCS alumni committee members have been busy the past few months finalizing plans for the banquet. Committee member Shauna (Morris) Dolph will be taking reservations again this year. The prices are $25 per person for reservations and $30 at the door. A roast beef meal including dessert will be served. Shauna can be contacted by phone at 402-617-4539. Reservations can also be made by using Facebook messenger, sending an email to dcsalumni@bwtelcom.net, or by mailing requests to Shauna’s address at 33513 River Road, Benkelman, NE 69021.

The 50-year graduating classes of 1974 and 25-year classes of 1999 will be seated at the head tables and receive special recognitions during the banquet. All classes that graduated in a year ending in a four will also be recognized. Class pictures will be taken and the fun photo area will be set up again this year. All graduates as well as former students, teachers and administrators are welcome to attend the banquet. Nathan Behlke from the Dundy County class of 1999 will be the Master of Ceremonies during the evening.

The two alumni scholarship recipients from the class of 2024 will be announced during the banquet. To help fund the scholarships, trophies and plaques that the honor classes earned during their high school years will be auctioned. Items from local businesses will also be sold.
